The Challenge: Agency-Level Branding, Solo Execution

Following a competitive pitch where my vision was selected over TREKK, a full-service marketing agency, the objective was to launch a new Design Studio identity. The core mission was to create a comprehensive, scalable Brand Style Guide and Visual Identity System that would unify the user experience across all digital touchpoints. I aimed to transform a fragmented visual identity into a high-performing, conversion-oriented platform that simplified the "custom film inquiry" process for users.

Strategic Objectives

  • Drive Engagement: Use visual hierarchy and intuitive UI to increase daily site impressions and gallery views.

  • Optimize Conversion: Simplify complex inquiry forms to reduce friction and increase lead generation.

  • Establish Brand Authority: Create a consistent, premium aesthetic that translates across direct traffic, paid search, and email marketing channels.

The Execution

Unified Identity System

  • Developed a cohesive Visual Identity System (buttons, forms, cards) to ensure a seamless transition between the inspiration galleries and the inquiry funnel.

  • Established System-Wide Design Standards for typography and spacing to improve readability on mobile devices, directly contributing to longer session durations.

Conversion-Centric UI

  • Redesigned the Custom Film Inquiry Form and Selection Chart to be more accessible, moving away from overwhelming data entry to a guided, step-by-step user journey.

  • Integrated strategic "Inspiration-to-Action" triggers within the gallery views to capitalize on high user intent.

Cross-Channel Visual Language

  • Designed a flexible visual framework for paid search landing pages and email campaigns, ensuring brand continuity from the first click to the final form submission.

The Results (Post-Launch Performance)

The implementation of the new Design Studio and its accompanying style guide led to an immediate and significant lift in all key performance indicators:

  • Massive Impression Growth: Daily views surged from 319 to 1,520 within the first month—a 4.3x increase (161% growth in 30 days).

  • Lead Generation Spike: Inquiry form submissions increased by 143% Year-Over-Year, totaling 73 custom submissions in the launch period.

  • Traffic Quality: 52% of all leads came from Direct Traffic, validating the brand's increased memorability and organic reach.

  • Form Performance: Successfully captured 66 Selection Chart submissions, proving the efficacy of the newly designed, simplified form structures.

The goal was to speak the language of architects and interior designers rather than just listing part numbers.
