The Challenge
Bic needed to move beyond the traditional positioning of a cheap pen built strictly for students, requiring a culturally resonant concept that connects emotionally with a wider audience facing daily pressure.
The Concept
The campaign reframes the Bic pen from a basic school tool into a vital instrument for emotional release. Driven by the core idea of coping with high-stakes environments, the art direction and copy highlight how a simple pen helps individuals map out thoughts, vent anxieties, and physically navigate stressful, high-pressure times.
The Solution
We engineered a striking print and digital ecosystem centered on high-contrast, minimalist layouts that juxtapose chaotic everyday stressors with the grounding reliability of a Bic pen. This concept-first direction shifted a classic utility item into an essential, universally relatable tool for mental clarity and stress relief.
